"The Arsonist" premiere and "The Prince" pre-premiere at Multikino!
On 13 May, the American horror film 'The Arsonist' will premiere in Multikino cinemas. In addition, pre-premiere screenings of the comedy The Prince will take place in selected cinemas on 14 and 15 May. Tickets are available at cinema box offices, at www.multikino.pl and on the mobile app.
"Arsonist" is a new adaptation of Stephen King's cult bestseller. In the film, a girl named Charlie McGee is gifted with the rare gift of pyrokinesis, or catching fire. This extraordinary ability is a great danger for the girl. Her parents do everything to enable her to lead a relatively normal life. For more than a decade, Andy (Zac Efron) and Vicky (Sydney Lemmon) have been on the run, desperately trying to hide Charlie (Ryan Kiera Armstrong) from a federal agency that would like to use the girl's extraordinary gift to make weapons of mass destruction. Andy has taught Charlie how to discharge power that is triggered by anger or pain. But as Charlie turns 11, the fire becomes increasingly difficult to control. When the family's location is accidentally revealed, an agent (Michael Greyeyes) is sent to track down the family and catch Charlie. The girl has very different plans.
Meanwhile, on 14 and 15 May, there will be preview screenings of the comedy "Prince". In the film, Britain is shaken by the shocking news of an audacious heist at the National Gallery. Police say a powerful international gang is believed to be behind the theft of a priceless portrait of the Duke of Wellington by the great Goya. Reading the news, humble taxi driver Kempton Bunton cannot contain his laughter. For the priceless Prince is hidden in his own wardrobe in a modest house in Newcastle. Bunton enjoys his simple life, loves his wife and sons, but abhors all injustice. In this respect, he is an incorrigible idealist, which not infrequently gets him into more or less trouble. The theft of a priceless painting is certainly his biggest stunt in life, but the aim as always is noble. In anonymous letters, Kempton proposes to the authorities that the work be returned to him, on the condition that certain benefits be introduced for the poorest. When the police come across his trail, Newcastle's Robin Hood will have to face British justice and, worse, the wrath of his own wife.
