Hollywood blockbusters and Polish productions in February at Multikino!

 

A very diverse repertoire awaits audiences in February. The cinemas of the Multikino network will be able to see, among others: "The Influencer's Girlfriend", "Love Like Honey", "Sami swoi. The Beginning', 'Madame Web' and, from 29 February, the eagerly awaited production 'Dune: Part Two'. A detailed repertoire is available at www.multikino.pl.

 

On February 2, the film will be available in cinemas "Wonder Boy: The White Bird", in which Julian, expelled from school for treating little Auggie uncharitably, tries to find his way back to high school. Embittered, angry at the whole world, he is unable to relate to his peers. The Polish production premieres on the same day "Influencer's girlfriend". It is an electrifying tale of fame, money, the curse of popularity, the lust for attention and the price paid for being on top. It is a picture of the reality hidden behind Instagram filters, the studied frames of YouTube clips and lucrative sponsorship deals. Another offering for the beginning of February is an espionage thriller "Argylle. Secret Spy". Bryce Dallas Howard (Jurassic World series) plays Elly Conway, the reclusive author of a series of bestselling spy novels, for whom the ideal is an evening at home with her computer and cat Alfie. But when the plot of Elly's fictional books - which focus on undercover agent Argylle and his mission to unravel a global spy syndicate - begins to mirror the clandestine activities of a real-life spy organisation, quiet evenings at home become a thing of the past.

 

A week later, on 9 February, a Polish romantic comedy will enter cinemas "Love like honey", in which an unexpected swap of roles brings a series of complications, hilarious twists and challenges that the women will have to face. Premiering on the same day is the crime comedy "How I stole 100 million". telling the story of Ed, who has money - all 100 million of it - a beautiful beloved and a head on his shoulders. So everything to achieve success! But in the process, he also has a few problems. Firstly, he has stolen the money, causing him to spend the next year in prison. Secondly, he tricks his fiancée into thinking he's going to New York on business... This is the starting point of a crazy comedy that tries to answer the question posed at the beginning of the film - how do you steal 100 million and survive?

 

Pre-release screenings of the film will take place on 14 and 15 February "Madame Web", which will enter cinemas on 16 February. It is the story of one of the most enigmatic characters in the Marvel universe, who has so far been overshadowed by other heroes. Dakota Johnson ('Fifty Faces of Grey') plays the lead role. Audiences are treated to the story of a paramedic, Cassandra Webb, who works in Manhattan. It turns out that she may have extraordinary clairvoyant abilities.

 

Also on 16 February, the following will be released in cinemas "Sami swoi. The Beginning". Pawlak and Kargul - protagonists of the cult trilogy "Sami swoi" - were neighbours in a village in Podolia before they found themselves in the Recovered Territories. And even then it was an explosive neighbourhood... 'Sami swoi. Początek' is a colourful story in which petty mischief is intertwined with life milestones. The characterful characters combined with the great history in the background will take the viewer on a sentimental, but also thrilling and humorous journey.

 

On 23 February, the premiere of "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba - To the Hashira Training".. Multikino audiences will be treated to a worldwide event that includes cinema screenings of the eleventh season episode of the Swordsmith Village Arc - The Swordsmith Village Arc and the first episode of the highly anticipated new season of the Hashira Training Arc - Training Pillars. anime 'Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba - To the Hashira Training'.

 

And on February 29, award-winning filmmaker Denis Villeneuve presents the continuation of the Dune saga in the film "Dune: Part Two". This is the next instalment in the series based on Frank Herbert's famous novel. The film will show the impressive journey of Paul Atreides, who makes an alliance with the Chani and the Fremen. At the same time, he embarks on the warpath, blazing a lust for revenge against the conspirators who brought about his family's downfall. Faced with a choice between the love of his life and the fate of the known universe, Paul wants to prevent a tragic future that only he can foresee. "Dune: Part Two" returns with existing and new stars including Academy Award nominee Timothée Chalamet, Zendaya, Rebecca Ferguson, Academy Award nominee Josh Brolin, Academy Award nominee Austin Butler, Academy Award nominee Florence Pugh, Academy Award winner Christopher Walken, Stephen McKinley Henderson, Léa Seydoux and Academy Award winner Javier Bardem.

Audiences will find a number of family productions at Multikino cinemas in February. On 2 February the repertoire will include the animation "Katak. An Underwater Adventure" - is not only an adventure story about trust and growing up, but also a reminder of the uniqueness of our oceans and an exciting journey to the edge of the world. Meanwhile, a family film will premiere on 9 February "Emma and the black jaguar". Sympathetic Emma grows up in the Amazon jungle with Hope, a small black jaguar, as her companion for adventures and games. Unfortunately, their beautiful and intimate relationship ends when the girl moves to New York. Away from her homeland, however, Emma never stops dreaming of returning to the rainforests and her beloved pet. Years pass. The now teenage Emma, who has grown accustomed to life in the big city, discovers that the Amazon forest is threatened by cruel animal hunters. Without hesitating for a moment, the girl sets off to the land of her childhood to save her friend. In addition, an animation will be hitting cinemas in February "The Riddle of Clara Muu".

 

Multikino's February repertoire will not be short of cyclical screenings as part of the "OFF Thursdays". On 1 February viewers will be able to see 'Possession', on 8 February 'Twin Peaks. Fire walk with me', directed by David Lynch, on 15 February 'Brothers of Steel', on 22 February 'Anatomy of a Fall' and on 29 February 'Zone of Interest'.

'Twin Peaks. Fire walk with me" in Multikino!

"Twin Peaks. Fire walk with me" directed by David Lynch, is a prequel to the TV series Twin Peaks, recounting the events leading up to the murder of Laura Palmer. Washington State. FBI agents Chester Desmond and Sam Stanley are investigating the murder of Teresa Banks. Agent Desmond uncovers some clues and then disappears under mysterious circumstances. Meanwhile, Agent Dale Cooper believes the killer will make his presence known again. A year later in Twin Peaks, Laura Palmer encounters both Bobby Briggs (who supplies her with the drugs she is increasingly addicted to) and biker James Hurley. She is stalked by the mysterious BOB. Soon Laura discovers who BOB really is....

The "OFF Thursdays" project takes place in all cinemas of the Multikino network every Thursday at 7 p.m. During the next screenings in the series, viewers will have the opportunity to see: 'Brothers of Steel' on 15 February, 'Anatomy of a Fall' on 22 February and 'Zone of Interest' on 29 February.

'Diary' back on Multikino's big screen!

 

On 12 February, 'Diary', starring Rachel McAdams and Ryan Gosling, awaits attendees at a screening as part of the 'Cinema on Heels' series. Tickets for the February event are now available at the cinema box office, at www.multikino.pl and on the mobile app.

 

'Diary' is the screen adaptation of Nicholas Sparks' bestselling novel. It is the story of a love that blossomed in the early 1940s somewhere in North Carolina. In the film, an old man reads a diary to a woman suffering from Alzheimer's disease, describing the love story of a girl from a wealthy home and a poor sawmill worker. Starring Rachel McAdams, Ryan Gosling, James Garner and Gena Rowlands.
